Player's Role
1.
Attend and be prepared for ALL practices and games.
-Physically (soccer balls, water, shin-guards, jewelry off,
etc.)
-Mentally (it is not social hour but time to improve
yourself as a soccer player and learn more about the game)
2.
Listen.
- To coaches and teammates
3.
Respect EVERYONE!!!
- Coaches, teammates, opponents, referees
4.
Work hard.
- Give 100%
5.
Have fun!
By following the team rules, players will be
rewarded appropriate playing time. They
also should gain the self-satisfaction of knowing they are doing their best and
working hard for themselves, as well as their teammates.
If a player chooses not to follow the team
rules it may result in loss of playing time, extra conditioning or
strengthening activities, or a private meeting with the coach.
Remember, this is classic league
soccer. Players are not all guaranteed
equal playing time. The coaches will do
their best to play each player approximately half of each game, but, again,
this is not a guarantee.
During important games and “must win”
games, the 11 players performing the best will play on that given day (with the
attendance policy in effect).
