David Ginola is the very personification of French flair. David began his First Division football career in France with Toulon, during the 1985/86 season. From there he moved onto various other French sides before finally settling at Paris Saint Germain (PSG). He enjoyed four hugely successful seasons at PSG, including a memorable 1993/94 campaign that saw him win the coveted French Player of the Year and French Player's Player of the Year Awards.
Ginola made his international debut against Albania in November 1990 and 17 full caps for this country followed. Many football fans, especially those who watch the Lilywhites on a regular basis, believe that David could an should win many more appearances for France. |
